If you’ve purchased a domain and want to connect it to your website hosted with us, you must update your domain’s Name Servers. Follow these steps to change your DNS settings to:
Enter your username and password to access your account.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Domain Settings
In your account dashboard, find the domain you want to update.
Look for an option like Domain Settings, DNS Settings, or Manage Nameservers.
Step 3: Change the Name Servers
Locate the section labeled Nameservers.
Select the option to use Custom Nameservers.
Enter the following:
ns1.dns-parking.com
ns2.dns-parking.com
Save or confirm your changes.
Step 4: Wait for Changes to Propagate
Name server changes can take up to 24-48 hours to fully propagate worldwide.
DNS changes typically update within a few hours, but full propagation across the internet can take up to 48 hours. The time depends on factors such as the Time-To-Live (TTL) settings of your DNS records, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) policies, and your domain registry’s processing speed. These factors determine how quickly your updates are reflected across all global networks.
